My fiancé last night: Will you be bad with me and eat these?
Me: Of course honey!

Sabotaging each other on our diets, how cute!
/sarcasm

What really gets me though, is that my fiancé frequently goes over his RDI and loses weight... I'm uber envious, but also really happy for him! I wish I was that lucky!

Well, at least my weight stayed the same instead of increasing. :)

It seems like men lose weight easier...idk if that is really true or not, but it sure seems like it! My husband can eat anything he wants, and he's really not all that active anymore and he won't gain :(

Yes, it's true. Men have more muscle than woman. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn at rest. The easier losing weight and maintaining weight becomes. That's why as we age and lose muscle mass, we start gaining a percentage of weight each year. Strength training/circuit training and cardio helps.

Also men can gain 2 lbs of muscle in a month where women only 1...

Humm this is how I got into this condition... My friends do this to me all the time, would bring a pizza as if he had more company to see a game and go aww won't you help me finish this, scold don't waste the crust. Or last winter there were three holiday parties all making sure my plates were filled. I tried everything working the plate so it appeared I was eating a lot but same stuff. I think seeing before and after pictures might help remind but the best thing to add is a little exercise to balance it out.

You have to live. As someone who has been married for 23 years, and has a wife who can sabbotage with the best of them. Who is in the predicament of most women, not to mention her husband had Gastric Bypass, so a good bathroom break can help him lose weight. I both understand your "pain" and the perspective of a guy, who hears how it's unfair, that I can lose weight and she cannot. If this is truly a struggle, you have to stand for you. I tipped the scale @ 518lbs before my Gastric Bypass surgery. I have had cookies, Pizza, IceCream, Fast Food, etc. paraded in front of me, when all I could consume was protien shakes. It is possible. I don't know your situation, maybe you are one of the blessed one's who lose weight to fit into a swimsuit, maybe your weight loss is connecting completely to your health. For me it was a matter of life or death. If my wife kept sabbotaging me I reminded her I would die. People who Love you should respect the fact that you are trying to better yourself. If they sabbotage you, I would question their love.
