Apple, cinnamon, clove, cottage cheese and a couple of craisins mixed up and covered in the microwave for two minutes. Apple pie! And if a box of pomegranates show up this year, I will toss them in instead of the craisins.

Yum! How closely does this resemble apple pie? LOL Sometimes I'll smear some cream cheese on my graham cracker and call it Cheesecake. ha. It's pretty tasty and a LOT less calories. ;)

I think it’s pretty darn close. I used all the spices, but no sugar because gala apples are already sweet. And if you stuck a cracker in there, that’s pretty much a little bit of all the pie components. Flavor profile is dead on. The cottage cheese melted and gave it a little body. Probably not required.

I also bought a bag of those tiny apples they call “snackers”. 55 calories each.
