Day 4 of a planned 5 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting

During the week my weight goes up and down. Basically this is why my weight has not just gone up 😊

I have been on this site for over 6 years (you can click on my name, then click on my weight, and see my entire weight history). You will see that my average weight was around 220 pounds. In 2018 I was 215 pounds. I now average 170 pounds. I have averaged that weight for over a year now.

Quitting my diet would cause me to gain the weight I lost back. So, I need to simply not quit.

I have recorded my macros and weight for over a year, so I know to maintain my weight I need to consume <100 carbs <100 grams of protein. Period. Fat intake does not matter for me.

Problem is, one McDonald's® Quarter Pounder® with fries blows that out of the water. So, to maintain my weight I would have to permanently say no to such indulgences.

Not-gonna-happen 😜

So 4 1/2 days a week I drop my macros to <20 carbs <50 grams of protein to balance out my excesses.

173.0 lb Lost so far: 34.0 lb.    Still to go: 9.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
