Rh, what branch is he in? He will be just fine, just keep praying for him. He will be back in 10 days.

Tell him thank you for me. Whatever branch he is in and whether he is deployed or not, he is out there keeping me safe.

Restless, I see your calories are on the low side. This might be the reason you are finding it difficult to "not cheat." Try adding more fat calories. This will help keep you more satiated and less likely to have those cravings. Another thing that will cause cravings are artificial sweeteners - even those found in diet sodas. If you want to a boot up you ass, I am more than willing to do that. Just let me know when.

Try not to beat yourself up too much. After all, you've lost 27 pounds since June 1 which is not "slow weight loss" in my book! It's absolutely AWESOME!! You've identified that you need to be more on track, so that's fine, and you know you can do it. Be sure you're getting enough protein....you usually do, or so it looks that way, but there are a few days when you're too low to keep your lean body mass nourished and repaired. I only say this because I've found myself in the same situation and try to make adjustments for that. If you think your problem is at night, you could always try to schedule something at that time...late night walk, meditation session, grooming the dog, whatever.
