2 years ago I was 7 lbs. heavier than where I am today. I had lost 30+ lbs. and put it all back on. I was feeling great, went for a visit back home and stopped tracking everything. Stopped paying attention to what I put in my mouth. I thought then that I would never be this heavy again. How could I let myself get this way? It's pretty pathetic. Today I make a promise to myself, to my daughter and to my husband, that I will lose this weight and more.

How I feel today? Disgusting. My pants are so tight, my stomach bulges out and over. My thighs are huge. I have trouble getting up off the couch or the floor.

What is today's goal? Track everything. Exercise.

Focus on the that goal for today. Keep that as your goal, try to forget the #. You are not the number, or the tight clothing, or the unflattering body parts, you are a wife and mom. Needed by your family. You can do it, you have proven that you can when the focus is there. It is easy to go back, but you are a strong, beautiful woman and you can do this!

Try to keep positive thoughts. Don't degrade yourself. Instead of being disgusted with yourself, be proud you are on your way to wellness. Keep a written journal of EVERYTHING you eat so that you are kept aware of the healthy items you are choosing. It really does help. Onward!!!
