My dad was here for 2 weeks so I haven't been updating much but I have been doing great with the food. While he's here we tend to do more exercise wise (Walked 12 miles the first week, 8 this last week even while working). I haven't cooked dinner in 2 weeks and we both lost during the vacation so it's a win-win. I'm down about 6 for the 2 weeks even with a LONG plateau (ick). Scale didn't move for about a week even though I was doing everything I was supposed to and had added in walking but it's still all good. Just encouraging to see it move again.

My dad discovered greek yogurt (dannon has a fit n light that's 80 cals, 9 carbs for about 5-6 oz) so that worked as a evening treat for him. He dropped 14 lbs in 14 days but he's a walker. Hit the beach every day and his shortest walk was 2 mi (with me on a very windy day), longest was 10 miles twice. Just a great jump-start for us both. He's got another 10 he wants to lose. I have quite a bit more but it's a journey.

Wouldn't it be nice, though, to be able to spend a few hundred dollars and just be "at" the goal?? :) Wouldn't mean as much though. I work hard for these losses. But I really would love to fit in my size 8s again... lol
