Rachel116's Journal, 10 February 2013

I have absolutely fallen in love with my 1 mile walk workout video. If you want the youtube link just ask and I'll gladly share it. I never have to leave my house and I feel like I've had a good 20 minute workout when I'm done. There are also 3 mile and 5 mile versions....I'm lucky to get through 1 mile right now.

EDIT: Here are the links for the 1,2,& 3 Mile walks that are available on youtube. The 4 and 5 mile walks are available in store only.

I have quit watching my calories/protein intake again and just focused back on 20 Net Carbs/day. I had gained 5lbs during the first part of the week and have since lost 2lbs the past 2 days. Hoping that by not stressing over protein and calories that I'll get this losing back on track.

Today we are going to visit with my brother and sis-in-law and they always want to go out to eat and I never know where they're going to want to go. I'll just have to try to find something on the menu that is acceptable or as close as possible.

230.8 lb Lost so far: 24.2 lb.    Still to go: 100.8 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I added the 1, 2 and 3 Mile links into this journal. The 4 and 5 mile walks are sold on DVD only. But they were available at walmart for $9.99.

Thanks for these Rachel, I just did the 1 mile walk which I found quite doable so will go on to the 2 mile one. I've bookmarked all 3 to work up the line. Great video, no equipment just a bit of space, anyone can do it.

Thats the thing that I really like about it Sunkeeper--NO equipment needed and minimal time for the length. So there's really no excuse other than injury as to why I can't do it.

I could use that link for the walk.. I ride the exercise bike daily and a bit of change would do me some good! I hope you were able to pull thru your outinbg with your brother.. It can be hard when going out with others that aren't on the same page or the restaurant of choice doesn't have anything great to fit on the plan..

Hey Rachel thanks for the links!! I have been looking for a used treadmill but this may be great until I find one. Going out to eat...it makes it tough when we don't know. Is there a possibility you can find out in advance and plan? Hamburger is my fail safe or chicken caesar salad with no croutons. I am sure you will do fine.

Thanks Dorothy and Jaime! I was able to eat the fajitas without any of the rice, beans or tortillas. I know it was SUPER high in sodium but otherwise the carb counts weren't bad- just meat, peppers, onions and tomatoes. Back on track today and it didn't seem to make me gain any so I'm happy with that. I hope the videos help you guys as much as they have me.
