This morning's weight:153.0
I wont be surprised to see it shoot up tomorrow with everything I ate today and my workout. I did get to 133 grams of protein though 👍

So I did my dead lift training today!!
OMG it was so hard!! She had me warm up and start low. She said she is impressed with how low I go for my squats and how good my form is 😊 She had me start out with a 45# bar and then went up to 95 lbs! Then she said that she thought I could probably go up to 105 so we tried and I did it. I Dead lifted 105 pounds from the floor! I am really surprised. I did not think I could go that heavy 🤣 I was worried about my lower back and knees hurting and I'm pretty sure they are going to be killing me tomorrow. They already ache. She told me not to baby my injuries. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'm going to have to start venturing into the "shark pit" so I can do my deadlifts a couple of times a week 😃

10 modified push ups & 2 regular (just barely)
Dead lifts from the squat rack:
45#: 2 set of 5
70#: 2 sets of 5
95# 2 sets of 4
Deadlifts from the floor:
60#: 5
95#: 3
100#: 1
105#: 1
Then:
Weighted Squats:
45# 5
70# 5
The weighted squats were extremely uncomfortable for my shoulders. They are way too tight.

My meals for today:
I actually ate really well today except for the fact that I ate 1000 calories in snacks 😆 Half of them were low cal snacks though
153.0 lb Lost so far: 56.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

For me, deads cause a lot of rear/side delt and trap soreness. Nice job on the workout and protein intake!

I retract my shoulders so keeping them tense and pulled back causes a good burn in the shoulder girdle. My rear delts are pretty developed so I think it works them well. I don't shrug the weight.

I slept so well last night! 9 hours straight! Could have been a long time coming but I’ll thank the workout 😀 My lower back was really stiff yesterday but feels fine today. My glutes Hurt. Like a lot 😂😂 But that’s okay! They’ve been needing a good work out. Hardly any thing I do activates them like the deadlifts did 😁 My traps are a lill sore too and I still have a pain in my stomach. It started when I was doing push ups 😕 must have strained a muscle

I see I need to get serious about exercise, no loss for weeks. I can see some difference in midriff and thighs. Thanks for sharing.

@CrashtestDawnie - Good job! So happy for you! In less than 6 months your body is going to look *insanely good*! I did my dead lifts yesterday also, because I was afraid you were going to send me a "Do you even lift?" emoji Haha!
