Another fast day over, really enjoyed it though once I'd had my "Eureka" moment and had a fab dinner.

I love steamed lettuce!! Its suprisingly tasty - just tear some lettuce into a saucepan, turn the heat up, add in a smidge of boiling water and some flavourings (I went for a dash of soy sauce and a half teaspoon of madras curry powder)and steam til done. Delicious!

Already had a really tasty breakfast so I am all set to just eat the lunch I packed (found a new wholemeal bread with seeds which i grabbed as it looks yummy) rather than buying extra pastries etc to supplement it. Fasting a bit makes it much easier to stick to what you had planned to eat!

Today's gym session will be very late, after dinner rather than after work as partner is on leave today so I want to come home and see and eat with him.

I have heard of steamed lettuce but haven't had it yet. I love boiled cabbage so I think steamed lettuce would be good too. Thanks for the directions! I've got a bag of lettuce salad already torn so it should be easy to do!
