You could also add oranges to or instead of the nectarines. This whole combo makes a great salad.

Good idea, Kenna. I used the nectarines because they were ripe and needed to be eaten. I actually have a great salad recipe that uses grapefruit and orange segments with a citrus dressing. Delicious.
