Miraculum's Journal, 26 May 2019

I am so excited to be going to Buffalo in two weeks to see my (former) stepdaughters, Lisa and Andrea, for the first time since Christmas 2001! I can see the hand of Divine Providence in this:

Both have weight issues and a history of thyroid abnormalities in their family. Andrea had just accepted a friend request from me on Facebook, and I sent her a private message telling her about LCHF/keto. Andrea said that that WOE includes foods that they both love and that, maybe, it would be good for them, and she was just diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma linked to her weight gain.

I just happened to come across a post (on another website) about a woman Andrea's age (in her 30s), with her symptoms, who is addressing her pituitary-tumor-related hyperprolinactinemia symptoms with a ketogenic diet, and it's helping!

Not that the tumor can be fixed exactly, and usually these particular adenomas are not malignant. However, the founder of the thread, another woman, said, "Hey! If sugar feeds malignant tumors and keto helps shrink them [which is documented], maybe it'll also work for benign pituitary tumors, too!

Hey, y'never know!

I'm invited to an afternoon college graduation dinner party for the daughter of a close cousin of mine on June 8th, and Andrea's fiance's birthday just happens to be the same day! (This guy is a hunk, a wounded 3-tour Iraq war veteran, now a Border Patrol Agent, and we just happen to share the same politics. Andrea said, "You will LOVE him!")

I am so thrilled that this is going well!

And, well, to be honest, it doesn't hurt that there's no love lost between "the girls" (they'll be 39 and 40 in August and September this year) and their second stepmother -- my ex-husband's third wife and widow -- and that she's completely out of the picture, having moved back to Kansas after he died in 2016.

I have spent a lot of time over the past 20 years, full of regrets for all the chaos and frustration and anger in that marriage and all screaming I did that his three kids had to suffer through. It seems like that is all being healed now, at least with the girls. (Their older brother lives in FL, and he's just ... another story altogether.)

I am so grateful for all these blessings! I have the grandchildren I thought I'd missed out on, through my current husband's son, and these two old relationships will be healed and restored to me. Praise God!

Happy that things are moving along. Probably moving in other ways, like your physical well-being.
