Miraculum's Journal, 19 May 2019

Still feel "icky" from the last few days of poor diet (foggy and bloated, with a slightly queasy stomach), but it's motivating me to stay focused and committed to my eating plan today..

Sunday is always very relaxing. My husband makes us brunch and cleans up the kitchen, then goes off to the Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club to do some target shooting and hang with his buds. I sort the laundry, throw in a load, and find a vintage movie or two on TCM or something on NetFlix, Britt Box, or Amazon Prime. (Laundry has never seemed like "work" to me. After all, the machines do all the work. It's not like we have to beat them on rocks in a stream!)

SquirrelB, I just read your bio essay and your post from Oct. 20, 2018, after Hurricane Michael destroyed your home and possessions. I can't imagine that, and all the challenges. I'm glad to see you're back from that. Be well!
