Getting really discouraged and scared. Eating is ok and weight appears to be coming down. But still can't get the blood sugar down. I hope that doesn't mean that I will be going on insulin. For the first time in my life, I'm more concerned about the blood sugar than my weight. I'm hoping as my weight comes down that maybe my blood sugar will settle down. I can only hope!!

Look into the Southbeach diet. It helped me. Or cut way back on your carbs. Carbs turn to sugar. Good Luck!

Have you gotten a plan from your doctor or a nutritionist? You might do better getting away from sugary processed foods to whole food such as lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. Fruits you may need to watch because of natural sugars. Certain foods help reduce blood sugar. You might go the library and do some research to find what will help you or even google. I'm sure there are sites with information that could help you. Exercise also helps keeps blood sugars stable (if you are able).
