Weekends are rough. I am usually the first one in the house out of bed,(DH works nights a lot, and both children are grown). I am not a morning person or a breakfast person, so usually by noon I am hungry, alone, and making poor choices with food. Today, I had 6 left over McD's chicken nuggets that someone had left in the fridge, also I snagged a mozzarella stick from someone's left overs. I felt like crap, so I made a plan for eating breakfast. Found some easy smoothie and other breakfast recipes and ideas, then went shopping. Tomorrow I start eating breakfast! =)

I am not a breakfast eater normally either, but I found that I got to feel I was being "naughty" if I just grabbed a yogurt parfait from McDonalds in the morning on my way to work. With the increase in dairy costs though, they cut the size in half and my tummy was growling in the office. I started drinking Special K Protein shakes. I found the strawberry ones to be good if you make them REALLY REALLY cold, just like a milkshake. They are just easy as sneaking leftovers out of the fridge too.

Thanks for the tip. I felt motivated and prepared my breakfast for this morning, and took it to work and ate it at my desk. It was nice to not feel so hungry by lunch time. I will check out the Special K shakes too. Those have got to be a lot easier than rushing around at night to prepare the next day's breakfast. :)
