Changing the routine today..

Happy happy Thursday to everyone..

A day of rest from zwift...and virtual riding inside..allow my body time to recover from my 40 mile yesterday...yesterday’s ride was 15 minutes faster then the 40 miler I did March 8th...nice to be able to look back at past rides and get info..

Today’s plan..kettlebell workout..maybe some toe touches..just all around workout..different movement...since I’m riding mon,wed,and fri...now..need to challenge body with different workout..

Also prep day..stay ahead on having food prepped ahead to stick with what works best...

Going to meditate in a few..get my mind focused on the day and my intentions..

Calm your mind..set your intentions...allow it to happen

A schedule is good. I have 5 days on 2 days off every week. And every fourth week is an easy week. Recovery is necessary.

Doing the longer rides..decided to change my schedule up...shorter rides..I could do 5 on..so jparlett do you use Strava or zwift

I use the free version of Strava until my paid version of Endomondo runs out. I have the paid version of Polar too that came with my watch. Not much cycling for me right now so my workouts look pretty lame when they import to Strava.

If it wasn’t for my indoor setup...be to cold this time of year to be consistent with outside riding...I have the winter gear from years past..but I’m spoiled now...

now you have motivated me to dig out my indoor trainer and install the software on my new computer... it also means I have to clean my basement... your work here is done.

An added bonus on zwift you can meet up with friends to ride same route..or chat with them if you can peddle and type...im not good at that...

I know how hard it is for you folks in these cold climates to get good exercise in the winter. We are so spoiled here in SoCal. I admire how so many of you folks have come up with some really workable plans.

Been wondering what this zwift thing is, and this looks great. Thanks for showing what it is. Hear good things about kettlebell workout too, but haven't got one. Get good use out of my dumbbells though. Love how a bit of workout lift quality of life. Keep it up mate.
