day two of working on 1 rep maxes. here's what I got:

Bench: 235
Squat: 185
Dead Lift: 275
Overhead: 150

Wanted to get those numbers up before leaving the gym, lest I forgot one lol.

After determining the deadlift and overhead press maximums (I forget just how many lighter reps we did to get to these maxes, so those won't factor into any calculations for the day's totals, unfortunately), I decided to do some squats and bench press, if I had time. Turns out I was able to get 5 sets of 5 squats at 155 pounds and 4 sets of 3 on the bench press at 205 pounds -- with 5 reps in the 5th set. Being just a few minutes before noon (which is when the child watch closes), I knew I wasn't doing anything else other than stretching, and I was still feeling strong, so figured I'd push through to 5 on that last one!

got the girls home, had some milk + protein while I waited for the broccoli and cauliflower to steam in the microwave, ate broccoli, cauliflower, and cheddar cheese with the girls, then got 'em down for a nap. Now it's time to park my butt in front of the computer and drink water like I'm dying of thirst and knock out as much of today's work as possible :D
