Rachel116's Journal, 29 November 2012

I did measurements for the first time in two weeks and I've lost 5 inches combined. This makes me extremely happy.
My size 18 jeans are fitting very well now. I think another 5-10lbs and I'll be ready for the 16s.
As far as weight goes. It seems I've actually gone up in lbs but I think that's because I've been basically in starvation mode for the past few days and as soon as I started adding food back my body grabbed it and won't let go!! With a few days of water and decent food those 5lbs will come flying back off. With the lost inches I'm not really upset about it.

Tomorrow is day 1 of low-carb foods again, or so I hope. I have to see how it goes in the morning. I still can't get out for exercise as just walking through the house is exhausting but hopefully by next week I'll be back on track and ready to kick some "fat/carb" butt!

Diet Calendar Entry for 29 November 2012:

5 inches is GREAT, girl! Who cares what those silly scales say? You can tell by your clothes that you're losing and I'll take inches over pounds any day! I hope you're feeling better now than you were. Being sick sucks big time :/ Love the "kick some fat/carb butt" statement! LOLOL! You get it, girl!

Thanks Angie. I actually don't feel too bad-just really tired. I hope you are feeling better too!! Inches are wonderful although I'd really like to see the lbs go too! LOL

Rachel losing inches is great! That is where our clothes fit and a lose is a great thing! I know it sucks to have a 'set back' when you are on track. It seems when I first start trying to get back on the good wagon I get sick....I like to say it is my body rebelling against it but this time I hung in there. Just keep getting the rest you need and feed your body the good stuff and you will spring back.
