Nana Ellen's Journal, 14 March 2019

Well I did it I had a fruit smoothie for breakfast, well my breakfast , but it was 1 o’clock, blueberries strawberries and a half a banana with one cup of quaker oat beverage all just under 27 carbs. I was starving at 2 o’clock the first time I experienced daytime hunger since I’ve really been into high fat low carb . I really enjoyed every bite I say bite because it was so thick I needed a spoon. All those carbs didn’t stay with me I was hungry. I couldn’t take it any more so At 3 o’clock I had left over home made hot and sour soup.

My intermediate fasting hours are from 1 to 5 so at five I will eat again. Just going to have left over turkey. My carbs will be under 50. I let you know tomorrow how it goes

Nana Ellen, I *love* fruit smoothies.but they never relieve my hunger, and all that sweet stuff just raises my blood sugar and triggers more carb cravings. It's a good idea to have at the ready "real food real fast."
