Thursday workout -- I ran a 10 min 24-second mile (not as much improvement as I would have liked over my initial timed 11-minute mile, but I'm blaming it on poor nutrition lol). Then 3 sets of 10, pushups, step ups, goblet squats with a 35-pound kettlebell, TRX bodyweight rows, and then 3 sets of 30-second planks.

Friday -- Didn't have as much time as I prefer (slightly less than an hour). I did 20 sets of 135# on the benchpress, then 5 sets of 5 at 195. Then, using the same bar but with considerably less weight lol, 5 sets of 5 military press at 115#.

Did some stretching, and that's all I had time for.

Is it going well? You are feeling fitter?

I am, usually. I'm still haven't seen a change in the scale in about a month, but I'm more or less over that -- so long as my weights get heavier, my chest and arms get bigger, and my waist gets smaller lol. Presumably I'll hit a breakover point where I'll start seeing overall body weight changes eventually.

That is good. Not really working on a runners body. But you will be a good sprinter LOL. Yeah your metabolism should be increasing and it will show up on the scale
