Today the scale went insane: 59.8kg.
How can it be that I gained 2.6kg or 5lbs in 4 days?
I felt super hungry on Monday, and I have eaten more than 2000kcal (I am usually on 1500-1700kcal).
Tomorrow I am supposed to go swimming (I am not sure since I got a cold), and on Friday I will weight in and see how the "idiot box" reacts.
Point is: I don't feel bloated or any bigger than one week ago. So, don't know how to explain this increase in weight. Could it be that muscles are retaining water/liquids after the 8 hours working out of the past weekend?

Anyways, I am looking forward for next Friday and Saturday. I am going indoor climbing again and to an "Aerobic Convention" with some friends. We booked 5 lessons during the day, it's going to be super fun!!! :)

How does your sodium intake look? It could be muscle repair but it could also be water retention if you sodium is high. Are you drinking a lot of water? Good luck and hang in there.

When you gain weight, some of it will be water weight (not just fat).

That's good advice, jaime! I did jot check about the sodium intake, but since one week I started eating again (Parma-like) ham, which is full of salt. And I am not drinking enough water, also. Will try to lower salt intake, drink more and see how it goes on.

Right Suzi, fat gets "coupled" with water... I am afraid its not only muscles, since its too much weight :-/

Hey Rubie-Sue, I found out by chance about the aerobic convention in the town where I live and convinced a couple of friends to join me! Its going to be tough, since its 4 hours of aerobics + warming up in one day, I have a good feeling its going to be fun!! Lately I have been in "why-not?" mood for things I like doing, especially concerning sports. I found out I don't have to force myself to workout, I just find nice things to do and involve friends or (ex)colleagues or just do them alone. Like climbing, swimming, skating or going hiking. Its such a change in the way of looking at things and in the lifestyle. I am glad it happened! :)

Definitely an idiot box. I'm imagining water weight gain too.
