jaime30024's Journal, 24 February 2019

Yesterday was a good gym workout and fasting period. My fasting period was about 17 hours. Had a good lunch and then we decided on an unplanned hockey game. Overall, I was good. I had some of DH beer, man I do love craft beer and it was good. Then had a couple chicken tenders and roasted almonds.

Today I have laundry to work on. I’m thinking I need to let the muscles recover today from weights. I’ve worked them hard. Friday I tried a new recipe for Cajun Sausage and Shrimp. Quick, easy and delicious. Today I’m possibly trying a Mongolian Beef recipe.

Remember to be kind to yourselves!

Thanks, Wholefoodnut. This morning it had an 'up tick' not sure why and I decided not to log it. I am not really surprised though. It is probably the break that I gave the muscles and as such they are retaining fluid. I will keep on keeping on and whatever the scale reflects tomorrow will record it with the knowledge that muscles will be muscles :)

You stated what my comment was going to be--could be muscle repair fluid retention. At the suggestion of someone here on FS years ago I never post a weight unless it is reasonably stable for several days in a row and then average it. Also per my doc your body normally has 2 pound up or down variations on any given day.

Yep I agree with WFN. I am taking a break today also ... I got more exercise than usual yesterday. Today is rest day but tackling some chores.
