Rachel116's Journal, 03 November 2012

Confession time.....I ate a small breakfast, completely forgot lunch then went to a late evening birthday party without eating supper. I had helped my best friend plan this party so I knew we were supposed to have hot dogs, nachos and cheese, cake and ice cream. So I figured I could eat a hotdog without the bun and still be okay. Her wonderful husband brought the hotdog buns but forgot the hot dogs. Needless to say, we had Nachos and cheese, cake and icecream. I was absolutely starving by this point. So I ate a couple bites of just the nacho cheese without chips and literally one tiny bite of cake (less than 1 ounce). Thank goodness with as little as I had eaten all day this didn't put me over my carb count but it wasn't an induction friendly food. I sure hope this one bite of cake doesn't make me gain weight. I haven't lost any the past couple days which I can live with momentarily. But if I've gained weight I'm going to be super upset with myself.

I hope that piece of cake doesn't make you gain either. I personally don't think it will but try to eat all your meals tomorrow. If is bad if you don't. I don't want to sound all motherly and shit but you can do this!

Thank you for your comments. You are absolutely right it's very bad to skip meals. I just completely lost track of time today...Tomorrow WILL be better!

I agree with petiteallison. That tiny piece of cake probably won't hurt you. Now, if you did it every day, that's a different story lol. But I know you're not doing that :) We're all human, girl. We're gonna stray from plan now and then, and that's okay. You'd never be able to change your lifestyle to eating this way if you thought you could NEVER have a certain type of food. Just know that you can have it, if you want. That's a big brain-changer in itself. Once you know you can, you'll find yourself choosing not to. I'm absolutely amazed at myself when I talk myself out of it lol. You're doing great, Rachel! And yes ma'am, you CAN do this! :D
