I am so very frustrated with myself tonight. I had todays menu planned but forgot to get some things from the store last night with all of the Halloween festivities going on so today was a "fly by the seat of your pants" kind of day. I only took in 13 carbs but nearly 2000 calories and now I'm extremely hungry! There's food everywhere and none of it is low carb and no/low calorie. I'm going to make an attempt to drink a glass of water and go to bed. It doesn't help that Flo came to visit and I'm really wanting my comfort food.

Oh, I know how you feel! I hate those days like that, and I have them way too often. Carbs left but WAY over calories and feel so hungry :/ Drinking water is good, though. It will make you feel full, and also chewing gum helps me, too.

Just thought of something else. Parmesan chips! Just pour tablespoonfuls of grated Parmesan about 2 inches apart on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil sprayed with cooking spray. Press them down so they're round and bake them at 400 degrees. Watch them closely 'cause they will bake quickly, like in a few minutes. When they're done, the edges will be brown. Let them cool for about 5 minutes. Grated Parmesan has only .24 carbs per tablespoon and just 27 calories per tablespoon. I have actually started replacing shredded cheese in recipes with Parmesan cheese. Look up foods that are both low-carb and low-calorie so you'll know what you can buy to keep on-hand for days like today :)
