I bought a new scale. It’s a beauty big digital numbers I don’t even need my glasses to look at it. I don’t like what it said
up more than 4 pounds. So sad I am not under 200. Good news though I will feel that triumphant again when it reads 199.
I will treat my self to a new dress.

I am going to use the old scale so I can see my real weight lose or gain until my challenge is over.

There is something else on my mind. Mike my husband wants to go out for a meal. I have been saying you know I can’t. Last Saturday I gave in we went out for pizza. He drank beer I drank water. I was only gonna have one piece but then I ended up having two. Well in all it wasn’t too bad my carbs were over 60. The sad part is his sugar is bad he is on meds. I cannot get him to realize how bad that is. His last visit the doctor increased his dose of metformin. She has no idea how bad his diet is. He consumes most of his calories after dinner. Donuts, cracker, bowls of cereal and jelly beans whole half gallons of ice cream. Topped off with a couple glasses of wine. When I do say anything he gets mad and said he’s 68 years old and can do what he wants. To get back on my point I feel bad because he really enjoys going out and I feel guilty. He is 6”3 and 220. Looking at him he looks fit..

Tile floors can have high and low spots. Maybe move the scale to a few different spots on the floor and see if one is better and close to the old scale.

Don’t feel guilty. One of you needs to be in control. .. diabetes is a hideous disease that steels your money , your kidneys, your eyes, your liver, and your heart (literally). accompany him out to dinner but only eat what is in your best interest to eat. Not much else you can do. Stay your own course for your own personal health. Good luck.
