Snowbear007's Journal, 31 October 2012

Happy Halloween! Since starting my Medifast journey on May 10, 2012 I have released 47.8 lbs. Still have 17.2lbs to go to reach my goal of 165lbs. While I am still practicing the Medifast healthy lifestyle principles... due to the cost of the meal replacements I am trying to eat other foods in place of them. I am still releasing the weight slowly just not as much as before. This is o.k. though as my main goal for the holidays is to get through them without finding or gaining that weight back again. Once the holidays have passed I will be able to purchase the meal replacements again and release those last 17lbs quickly again.

I have to say that I feel great! I am now in a size 14-16 (had to purchase new cloths) in lieu of a size 22. Even my shoes are looser. Have had to have my wedding ring re-sized. People that have not seen my lately are amazed at my success. The pain in my knees is gone replaced by a strength that I did not have before. While this is not official as I have not been tested yet. I am positive that the pre-diabetic condition that I started this journey with is gone.

I have set an example for my 17 year old and she has now released 12lbs in just 3 weeks time. Very very proud of her. My wonderful husband has released almost 20lbs just from eating helthier with us. I am proud to say that I feel beautiful and sexy. Most importantly the way my husband looks at me now like I was the most beautiful women alive makes it all worth it!
182.2 lb Lost so far: 47.8 lb.    Still to go: 17.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I am so happy for you! You are getting so close to your goal. I bet it feels great. Keep us posted as to the test results on the diabetes. You are a great inspiration. Someone else I know is doing Medifast. Do you think you will stick with that long term or transition out of it completely?
