Woohoo! With this massive cold I ran 3 miles and actually feel better... go figure. I can't wait till I move to get my gym set for house. I told dh I am going to join the Y until we move. I NEED WEIGHTS! I use to be a bodybuilder back in the day, early nineties mid nineties. I try to compete twice but the first time a week before competition I injured my back squatting 315lbs. Yes little me was strong. The second time the week before I ended up with a cyst that hemorraged and appendix needing to be removed so I gave up and didn't try to compete anymore.
I wasn't huge like a guy, its impossible for women to get like that with out steroids. I was natural and I had the muscle were I could compete in light weight bodybuilding or just do fitness competitions. You know I actually stop training because at that time people stared and made comments some good some mean. At that time it was weird to see a women toned let alone with muscles. Some people liked it some didn't. I had that lifestyle for about 10 yrs. I was stupid for letting that lifestyle go because of what people thought of me. I want to get back into and eventually compete, but fitness competitions only...lol.
I might have to do something with my tummy, cause seriously I have skin and wrinkles, not pretty...lol. But I'm determine to get back into it. I told dh and he was actually thrilled. So I begin my new journey, lose these last few lbs and tone and sculpt these muscles I have...muscle memory...its been a while but your body doesn't forget.
I'm so excited!!!!!!
