Slow and steady wins the race they say. Although, I have been Whole 30 for the month I did add in 2 tbsp of parmesan cheese last night. My original dinner plans kind of exploded and I wasn't feeling great.

Not sure if it is because Sunday night I removed the pillow from under my thighs (this has helped keep pressure off the incision) or because I did a stretch yesterday. However, by yesterday afternoon the left end of my incision was sore. I ached in my side and felt like into my groin. I had a big swelly belly. So I had some zucchini and rested and iced and ibuprofen. Today is better.

It was nice to see the scale move despite the swelling and the cheese that I added in. I am excited to start adding things in (with moderation) to see how it effects me. I think cheese was a huge crutch for me and will definitely be in moderation. You know too much of a good thing.....not so good for you.

I am thankful that I didn't wake up ANGRY this morning like I did yesterday. That feeling of anger stayed with me all day...then of course I didn't feel good and I was totally drained and in bed by 8pm.

I hope everyone has a great day today!

Sorry about the rough times! Glad you're doing better. Re: waking up angry, there was a time that I'd be mad at my husband when I woke up in the morning and it would stick with me until he pointed out, "You know that was just a bad dream and I didn't really do those things, right?? You can't be mad at me for a dream!" :D

Tesseeb - that made me laugh!!! He did ask the doctor if I needed to be on HRT. I joked with my sister, JulesMac, and told her it was his own well-being he was concerned about. Seriously, I know he has been worried and can't do much and I appreciate his concern but it did strike me as funny. JulesMac - We are in this together! I love you so very much.
