Woke at 226.6, down 2.4 from yesterday after a Fasting Friday. Going to recommence OMAD today but with a twist. Protein powder in coffee in the morning. Trying to have it both ways! Took a waking blood glucose reading and got a marvelous 63 after a fasting day. Will check again an hour after finishing a 20 ounce protein coffee. Then will wait until dinner to eat. Denise's second flight got canceled today, so I can't get her out until 6:45 tomorrow morning. The storms around the country are playing havoc with airline schedules. UPDATE: Blood glucose one hour after finishing the protein coffee was 70. Love it. That means a huge 50-gram scoop of protein powder, and regular portions of MCT oil powder, collagen powder, chlorella, turmeric, and nutritional yeast have no significant effect on my blood sugar. Oh, yeah. Three Brazil nuts, too. Good to know. UPDATE: Fasted until 3:30 and ate some pork roast and sour cream. Got to 226.0 before that. Off we go! UPDATE: Gigantic steak dinner (including a dinner roll) at the Elkridge Furnace Inn. Over calories goal by 862!

Oh that is such a great idea moving them where they can get better care. Hope it goes smoothly. It's always hard but it turns out okay in the end.
