Ahhh, to eat POTATOES again! When I lose another ten pounds, I'm gonna indulge one day! As long as I make them the exception, rather than the rule, I'll be fine to have a "cheat meal" once in a while (notice I didn't say Cheat DAY!) @bullybeefi, to post a picture, just start a New Journal Entry. At the bottom of the page, below the text box where you'll write what you want to say, there is a button that says, "Click to upload picture." Just click on that, and then select the picture from your computer. (I take pictures on my PHONE, and then email them to myself so I can save them to my Pictures Folder on my laptop.)

Debbie if you really are craving a small potato (or a taste of rice) Allow them to cool overnight and warm them up the next day. This increases the resistant starch which has a host of health benefits. The hunger response as well as elevated blood sugars are blunted. It's a great biohack to be used occasionally IF your weight loss is consistent. Keto should never be a punishment. God's foods are there to nourish and feed us :)

ChaneyStevens, 20:4 intermittent fasting, fast 20 - hours eating mostly in the evenings, using a 4-hour window. Same with 16:8 - fasting 16 - hours and eating - hours.

Chaney...you would just extend the period of time when you are normally fasting over night i.e. if your dinner is at 7pm and you would "break your fast" i.e. have breakfast at 7..you would push it out till 11am...your last meal is at 7pm and so on...You don't eat for 16 hours and you do eat within an 8 hour window. Same goes for 20:4. Good luck!.
