Welcome back! I also started my journey (in 2003) at 285 lbs. It took me three years to lose 75 pounds, and then I played around until I was 244.5. I know a lot about stalls and backsliding. Recovering motivation can be a tough nut to crack!

Thank you! I knew that if I just took care of my business at home I'd be able to get back on track. I keep busy at the gym, teaching group fitness, Zumba, Zumba Toning, and Pound. I just needed to get my eating under control.

Petty— it actually works that way for everyone. Massive exercise does not beat out a bad diet. Regular, fun exercise and a healthier diet is a good place to start. Health is long term.

Just remember how far you have come. And atleast we are all trying....I used to weigh 325 about 26 years ago, got down to 190 in a year and kept it off until lsst year. Doc says its my age and anxiety. All in all 20 pounds is what I gained but I looked sucked up at 200. Keep up the great work..

Welcome back Letty!!! I agree, it takes diet and exercise for me to maintain too. I'm here because I like the food data base and the exchanging of information...
