I have been overeating the whole day yesterday.
Today I feel bloated and constipated. Went up 2.5kg (5pounds) in 2 days.
And I am sure it's not all water weight.

Emotions related to my family and my late mom destroy me and my reaction is filling up my stomach.
I avoided calling my relatives for about one month, but as soon as I do, they remind me how alone they feel without me, how alone I am here in Germany. They remind me how badly my life ended up in the past 2 years. Thank God I don't live there anymore, they are so demotivating to me.

I am proud of myself. I am out of depression, out of a bad marriage, ready to work again and happy to enjoy life again. And I did it all with my energies, without any help from them (actually, with them trying to destroy me, telling me the whole time I could not make it).
What are families for?


Today I am thankful for:
-FS buddies who support and encourage me
-Energy coming back
-My friends and their support
-The amazing autumn we have in Germany this year. it's so beautiful!
-Climbing classes in 5 weeks.

2.5 kgs is a lot, and surely it's not fat gain. See it this way: As a general rule, you lose/gain a kg. by consuming 7000 calories less/more. So if you were to gain 2.5 kgs of fat, you'd need to consume 17500 calories MORE THAN YOU BURN. So, unless you had 20000+ calories, it's not all fat. :) If you did eat a lot, then possibly the food still processing in your body is weighing you down, maybe along with water from extra amounts of salts etc. - Get back on track, do what you know you need to do, and things will correct themselves. :)

Thanks Keld! You are right, even if I overate, it cannot have been 20000 calories in one day. I am back on track today, hopefully will see weight going down in the next few days. Anyway, I think I should get rid of "bad food" I keep at home, so I cannot be tempted next time. It's a shame to throw it away expensive patisserie chocolate and some good food items from Italy. Well, I can give them to some friends as presents and next time I overeat, at least it will be food that does not make me have craps in my belly. Thanks a lot!

I tried to remember all I have eaten and I ended up at 2500 calories. To be conservative, I would say it was 3000 calories, so "only" 1000 extra ones. That means it's supposed to be "only" 150 grams of fat. Not too bad, after all :)
