hello all my atkins group members, ive decided to boycott atkins today as its been one week of cutting carbs n eatn protein and fats( which i think have been giving me HEARTBURN)and i havent lost a pound......The good thing is ive lost inches though, because my black jeans that couldnt really button last week, can button now.

But overall i think atkins is unhealthy and all these fats dont agree with me.So, as of today im back to my own low carb diet, brown rice brown bread,high protein, low fat ,fruits veggies, ALL THE THINGS THAT ARE GOOD FOR U diet:)I will just feel better with myself.

But congrats to all of u who have lost wieght on this diet it was hard for me, so u guys are very good!

Hope you find the diet that is right for you! One size, and one diet, DOES NOT fit all. I wish you success where ever your path takes you. Atkins is healthy and a good diet choice for diabetics who have to maintain low carbs to keep their blood sugars in line AND need to lose weight. Each of us has to find our own way to success! Good Luck!

Well, based on your food journal you were never on strict Atkins, so it is kind of hard to tell if it works for you or not. I hope you find what you are looking for. Good luck! :)

I'm not on Atkins...I just pick Atkins just for the hell of it but my diet that I am doing is really nothing to fancy. I've learn when I was in bootcamp that we have eaten a lot to loose weigt and work out too. So here is what I have been doing which you may or may want to try. I work out every morning for 30-1 hour or do 2-3 miles. I eat what I usually eat for my 3 course meals but lunch I always eat a salad. Snack I drink this drink call ensure but a friend of mine told me to try glycerna it has less calories but fills you up also. I have done this and I have lost weight. The reason why I work out in the morning is because it keeps your motablism steady all day instead of feeling like a yo-yo. Good luck in what ever you do.
