Went out for dinner last night, I had planned for it, so I got what I wanted. Another beautiful calzone with fennel sausage inside. This is an indulgence, and I am cutting the outside crust off today and will make some croutons with it and eat the sausage inside for dinner tonight over --- spinach!!! There's some homemade ricotta in there as well, so... mmm.

I made my protein powder last week and made the mistake of including dried peas. I don't like the taste of peas and I can smell them, so I've been adding a teaspoon here and there to soup, oatmeal, etc. Anywhere I can just hide it. Not going to waste it for a silly mistake (IMO) but will correct next batch. I think I'm also going to incorporate yogurt back into my life carefully, and will use that whey to bump the protein a bit as well.

Today is a work day in the yard. Been busy with the office work lately, so a little behind and I need to get things done before the rains get here. Yes, it rains in SoCal and it can be a problem if you're not ready for it.
