3 ounces of brie + the last of the little tomatoes on the vines for breakfast. Trying to decide which DIY project I want to tackle first around the house...

DIY #1: All linens are in the wash; fresh sheets on all the beds. DIY #2: Took the bottom freezer drawer out and washed everything down. We'd had a short power outage and some ice cream had melted all over everything. I think just getting to a kneeling position (I have a kneeling pad) burned off about 400 calories. Now I feel like I "deserve" some chips, but I think I'll make egg salad instead.

For me, its not the kneeling down, its the getting back up that uses those calories, lol!😄

I hear you, BlueFront. I'm glad the freezer wasn't any more messy than it was, because I had a limited time to be down on my knees scrubbing it out. Blech, what a mess, and what a waste of perfectly good ice cream! I made my egg salad (3 eggs) and had some kettle chips for that important salty-crunch food group. Then I hit the back yard (really a big patio) for 2 hours of trimming back ivy that climbs over from the neighbor's yard, and cutting back the bougainvillea that is threatening to take over everything. I'm all scratchy, dirty, and full of spider webs. My calorie deficit is over 1000, though!

Congratulations on your energy!! A friend is challenging a group to do a particular house cleaning chore. The first was cleaning the stove and oven -- what a chore! This week it is cleaning out closets and donating clothes. I haven't started that one yet!

One day some years ago I came home from work to the sight of my husband and two of our amazon parrots in the kitchen picking out and eating the pecans from a melted container of butter pecan ice cream. He'd gotten a (frozen) bowl of it out of the freezer earlier in the day. Firgot to put the container back in the freezer until hours later. The sight I saw was the result.

Looks delicious! Housework like that are hard physical work! I was exhausted for you after reading diy #1! I was like omg there's more?

Jengetfit123 -- there was a hot shower followed by dinner out with a friend which included chocolate lava cake and adult beverages :) Terrific reward for a day of hard work! Right now it's 11:15 and all I've managed to do is walk and feed the pets and feed myself. I think I used up all my get-up-and-go yesterday.
