Weekly progress:

Last week I am happy and grateful that I stuck to the plan one day.

Nutritional Wrap up - I did not complete my intake goal for the week. I allowed weakness to be the driving force instead of making wiser decisions.

Exercise Wrap-Up - I did meet my daily exercise goals for the week. Every day doing the Flat Stomach app and then alternating 7 minute workouts. This week, I focus on legs every other day.

Goals for this week:
Wiser decisions.
Daily Right Now Media
Walk dog more often
Be off of Facebook and Instagram more.


I have a food journal that I use to write down what I eat, and then plug into FatSecret for calories and breakdown of nutrition. Each morning, I have started my day with a Bible devotional through Right Now Media. Today's lesson was by Dr. Tony Evans, Who is Master of Your Tongue (Watch Your Mouth). Great reminder that our tongue can be used to speak good and also can be used to speak evil. He compares it to dynamite. James 3:1-12 - Our tongue controls our whole body. Our words/our speech is no small thing. It is life giving or life taking. Even well-intended speech without Godly intent is of the enemy. Use your tongue to build and heal, and not to hurt and destroy others.

Most of the time, the 5x7 journal are filled with notes from the devotional lessons, with a little space left to write down my food. Initially, I was keeping track of calories, fat, carbs, proteins and fats, but it took up so much extra space that I now utilize for note taking of devotionals! I still keep the bottom line open for each daily totals.

I also start my day with scripture. As for logging, I log in my Carb Manager app. Place at the bottom for notes. Sometimes three or four times a day depending on where I am mentally
