Darn, I should have logged my weight yestrrday instead of today. Yesterday morning I was at 185.2. That better come off as easily as it came back on. My weight has been like a yo-yo. The kids will be down for a visit the end of this week. We've got lots of things planned to do and of course they want to take us out to lunches/dinners while they are here. Lord help me! I'm going to attempt to steer them to some safer eating establishments for the sake of all of us. Chinese/Japanese grill for my granddaughter and me. BBQ ribs place for the guys. They have great smoked turkey there too, which I can eat. Fly in the ointment is my granddaughter and daughter-in-law have fallen in love with this local cupcake place. I thought about maybe pulling a pretend headache that afternoon but I really don't want to miss any family time. I'll just have to suck it up and act like an adult (no fun there). Cupcakes just don't come in no sugar, no carb varieties. *Sigh*
186.6 lb Lost so far: 25.4 lb.    Still to go: 36.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Have a great time with your family - maybe find other things to do together than eating out if it would help you

We plan to go flea marketing at the huge (acres and acres) market and then to thr avian rescue center to watch the falconer train his falcons. Walk the trails at the state park and several other things so we will be working up an appetite. At some point we are going to have to stop for food. Just need to find places where we all can choose what's healthy for us.

Sounds like you’ll be having a lot of fun! Does that cupcake place serve coffee? If so indulge in a nice americano or cappuccino 😀

CrashtestDawnie- I'm pretty sure they have coffee but I'm a tea person. Hot or cold, any type but mostly use an herbal or chai at home. That will be my backup plan. May take a couple herbal chai teabags with me. They gotta at least have hot water, right?🍵
