Still struggling w/ the emotional munching. Had a "conversation" w/ hubby about balancing household/parenting responsibilities vs job responsibilites vs personal hobbies. It wasn't pretty and I took refuge w/ my head inside a box of Cheez Its. :) Amazingly, that was the night before I had my first weigh in that dipped below 160. So I supppose that the night owl elliptical sessions finally kicking in, so yay to that.

But we did work out some solutions that I think will help us maintain a better balance. And I recruited back up, my mom. When all else fails, call mom. She's taking the kids overnight this weekend so I can get the checkbook balanced (4 months behind, have no idea what state our finances are currently in). So being able to get that monkey off my my back will be a HUGE stress reliever.

Ugh! I have to have one of those conversations with my husband too and I've been postponing it cause I know how that'll go. Lately I'm just so tired from work and I come home and it's just a disaster area. Anyway, we all have to go through that once in a while. I'm glad you already did and got help from your mom. That's awesome! Keep up the elliptical sessions.

It's tough when you work outside of the home. B/c you get home from "work" and then there's more "work", almost like having a 2nd job. And of course catching up on playing mommy. As if that wasn't enough of a juggling act, now we're trying to carve out some time for ourselves, for exercise and planning some healthier food choices. Where's the Wonder Woman cape when you need it? :)
