I can lie and convince you today's workout of Core synergetics was the most amazing of all time. Alas, no. I skipped alot of moves, however I did actually sweat like a horse through it. Perhaps what I did was effective. 5lb dumbbells for the majority of moves. Squat run I grabbed 8lbs by mistake, but pushed through. Did 2 sets of pushups with 20 reps each. I can see I really should print out and complete the P90x workout sheets.

I HAVE improved, as I have come from no weights to 3lbs to 5lbs and working towards 8lbs. So growth has happened. Pushups have improved from barely able to do 5 to 15 without a break, and 20 if allowed a break to push through. So I am having an off day...so what?

As my birthday approaches, the conclusion of one album is coming to a close and a new one will begin. There have been loads of struggles...nutrition and workouts...keeping the faith and dedication is tough. There are days, weeks and months where it seemed like I didn't care. Oh I did, but I seemed lost. The encouragement from friends and family to keep hoping, keep going, to keep pushing.. is fantastic and timely. God knows when I need a nudge, a connection, a nugget of hope...thank you for continuing to reach out.

I will be honest, I really thought I would have better (healthier) measurements and weight than I have. Pretty sure most of the issue is my trying to work on me by myself. In the upcoming album, I am asking God to be in charge of working on me spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. Yesterday I was searching for a Facebook group of people in a similar situation as myself and found there were no groups available. God said I was looking in the wrong place. In Sunday school we have been watching Dr Tony Evan's lesson, "Your Comeback." Love when a lesson is directed to you. In the morning, I started a Bible Study "Free of Me"...guess I am a slow study, since I was looking for worldly guidance in that Facebook group...to be focused on self robs us of joy. Our focus is to be on God. The question of yesterday's lesson was: What godly truths can you include in answering: Who Am I? Seriously consider that for yourself. I feel I come up short when living up to my potential of what God wants for me. 365 days to 50 -- Focusing on God.
