jsfantome's Journal, 12 May 2010

Wow! The last few days are a whirlwind...but my mom has suffered two more strokes. She is stable, home and doing quite well. No physical affects, however, some emotional, cognitive and memory issues even more prevelent. Trying our best to get her med's under control, and MORE IMPORTANTLY, enjoying each day to it's fullest! God is good, and I am blessed that He hasn't taken her yet...we still have a lot of love, laughter and memories to make! Thanks to all of the Love and Prayers from Boot Camp! I will keep you all posted... Love.

Paula with all you do you still found the time to comment on my journal, thank you. I hope your mom continues to do well. I may have mentioned my mom has Alzheimers and dad Parkinsens. We are coping the best we can. Yes there are memories to make and treasured moments to keep. take care, Joyce

Love to you. My father had the same thing and I remember a geriatric consultant at my church telling me that these are very special bonding times when you get to look after your parents. Sending you prayers of strength and peace Paula. x
