Waaaay too simplistic. Everyone’s weight fluctuates a little on a daily basis unrelated to their basic body composition. Mazar Fitness seems to be a gym although I could not find it with an internet search.

Energy in vs energy out.
It's as simple and as complicated as that💪

Keith George Cooke. I agree with calories in/calories out. The issue, as I see it, is that the body’s water content changes slightly all the time. To assume, over the short run, that any weight is an accurate measure of body weight divorced from of its water content is inaccurate. Getting a real measure of body composition requires very complex and expensive equipment usually only available in research labs. Follow the Mazar Fitness recommendation if you like but I think you will find it unreliable. 🤷♀️

Body scans are quite cheap I paid $50 for 2x
Water weight is an issue but if you weighed yourself everyday for the 2 weeks in this pic and took an average it would be more then ample information to lose weight.
We are not talking about peak sports performance or body sculpting here just weight loss.

A few pounds less a few pounds more, in the grand scheme of things it makes no difference

Rosio19 I agree completely that “a few pounds here and there” is not important. What I have been objecting to is the Mazar Fitness claim that 2 weights 2 weeks apart indicate how many calories an individual ought to consume. It is important to remember that muscle IS 80% water and that our bodies are 45-60% water overall. Small changes in those amounts make a big difference at the scale. That’s all.

I understand about the fluctuations, but someone that has followed cico without excluding any foods understands that even with fluctuations there is a trend that happens
