I really like FS, but I find myself sometimes wishing it was just Keto people, like when a hot bod posts a pic of a pizza with over 200 carbs they get to eat. I miss pizza and really need to try a cauliflower crust one or some form of it that’s Keto friendly!

Having a search feature where we could search for only people using the same diet or omit them would be handy.

Yes. That would be a good feature. Has anyone researched an app for Keto eaters that has a support group and keeps track of nutrition?

You can join Keto groups and filter the journal entries for just groups, if you want.

I know the feeling. Here I am eating salad with lots of nuts and some salmon (which is really delicious), then I see people posting fruit salad and delicious looking sandwiches, lol.

IKR, Shawn! Fruit is the other thing I’m missing, though 5 strawberries every now and then, like once a week, is ok and like a treat!

Or filter on just those people you follow. But then its hard to find more friends. Up to you. I can understand though. When I was quitting cigarettes, seeing someone smoke was so difficult. I'm not that way with food because I can eat anything I want, so if that pizza looks good, I'll just plan to have some in the near future. It's very freeing. But if you can't control portions, it's probably better to filter on those who will make the day easier for you. Whatever works for you. :)

I had a bowl of watermelon for something like 12 net carbs. I lived, lol. Was the highest carb day all week. Raspberries are in the freezer waiting for me if ever I'm not near 20g. Fruit still have nutrients so I opt not to skip them when I have room.

look up FATHEAD PIZZA, uses a chicken crust. wayyyy better than cauliflower, imo

oh and I also only follow keto people and only look at "following" posts. if someone I'm following "likes" to many non keto posts I unfollow them unfortunately.

I belong to a Keto support group on Facebook. However, there’s no logging of food so there’s no nutrition tracking either. But I must say, if you’re fasting, don’t log on because there’s always food pics and Keto meal suggestions with pics and recipes. When on any diet there’s no getting away from having food in your face via any medium. We just have to support each other and stay strong or become a hermit😂

just look it up, there are plenty of pizza dough recipes. not cheap in calories or carbs as it is a lot of cheese mixed with the cauliflower, but better than real dough. I just like the toppings so I don't tend to eat the crust anyways. My husband sometimes makes it on the cookie sheet, no dough. He is not keto either. we just like no crust or very little crust

Just like I enjoy arby's ruben, you can get it without the bun and it tastes great. you can get the calorie break down on arby's build a meal, you can delete the bread and get the exact calories, fats and carbs.
