This is not weight or exercise related but more mental health related.

I'm off all this week thankfully as I really needed a break from work. Much planned to work on while I'm off. I was hoping to mostly just play but with the way my year has been I'm so behind. It will feel good to work outside and get some things done. I do enjoy working outside but have felt so behind for the past year the enjoyment has not been there. I so want to get it under control.

Today I will start on getting the coop and run finished and some yard work done before the weather heats up later in the week.

I had rough pain weekend but I think I have come up with some coping strategies to minimize the radiating pain from this neck. I need to re-set my attitude and get back to doing things no matter what, this week off I will work on that. I also need to work on simplifying so I don't get to feeling overwhelmed like I been much of this past year. I need to be able to get back to doing things I enjoy not just trying to catch up.

I understand all those feelings. I've been overcoming my own pain and it feels really good to get back to doing both the things I need to do and things I want to do. Have you tried chiropractic help for your neck? Have a great week and "good job" to you in advance!

A good day today. The weather is perfect. I spent the day working on my overgrown fence lines. Lots of breaks but a lot accomplished and also sat and chatted with a neighbor on one for longer than I would have spent but OK. Bread is bout to go into the oven a rare happening made white instead of a whole grain. I have some tomatoes from my yard so BLT's this week!! and I have a chopped tomato, basil, with olive oil and a bit of apple cider vinegar marinating in the frig. This tomato mix is simply amazing on fresh bread. Pam, no chiropractor as not a good idea for me. I now what they can and can't do working for one for 4 years. I have a 3 vertebrae fusion and now discs blown 2 above and 1 below that fusion. That fusion has extra bone inserted and a metal plate. Lots of physical therapy direction and exercise is in the program. Also refining some essential oil rubs to help relax muscles and help the healing. I have one that is helping and am working on ideas to make it better. My niece a neuropath in Australia is giving me some suggestions as well. Wish she and her amazing family were close by.

Bill, I actually do relax. Too often sitting lately with this dang neck issue slowing me down. ;) I also find working in my yard relaxing and workouts at the gym as well especially after work. It's interesting how I can feel the tension of the day melting out of my body when working out.

Neck.........Pain.......Radiating.....Reflect on this....PLEASE! That was the only sign/symptom I had before my 3rd heart attack. When is the last time you saw a Dr.? Might be worth a check-up. Your words made me uncomfortable.

I hear you. Try not to redamage anything but if pushing through and taking painkillers is the way to get to the other side of where you need to be mental-healthwise, I applaud you.

I know you don't do chiropractic therapy, but have you considered a gentle massage therapist??? It helps relax your muscles and increases blood flow to those tight muscles. And helps with mood elevation >3
