Low carb flat bread pizza for me (10 carbs) and Keto egg sausage cheese for @PrincessValerie (1 carb each)

@cb1006 - My wife cooked "Joseph's Flax, Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Lavash Flat Bread", then put a bit of tomato paste, peperoni, and cheese

Oh that does look good - the flatbread looks like it's crispy - is it? I'll be looking for that recipe - thanks for sharing! Please tell me it's crispy - I haven't decided what's for lunch or dinner yet - so it's a maybe...

N/M - just looked for a recipe - didn't realize the flatbreads were store bought - doesn't look like they're available in Canada - that's sad, but it gives me something to go searching for - hadn't thought about lavash flatbreads... Have a delicious day 8-)

I break my 'fast' on Friday nights. I always go into a 'carb binge'. I scoured the house looking for carbs. Now that my wife (@PrincessValerie) is on Keto carbs were hard to find! (actually I was unable to find ANY crackers only low carb chips). Normally I have pizza on Friday nights, but, last night I got 'low carb pizza'. It's going to be hard to NOT to continue to lose weight in this house once I hit my goal weight now that she has basically put me on Keto... :)

@thenester - I just asked my wife and she said she put it in the oven 10 minutes at 400 degrees. It was not "stiff" like a normal pizza (it was still 'bendable') but it tastes like normal bread. She wanted to double the thickness, and use two slices, to make it 'firmer', but I didn't want the extra carb hit.

I make pizza on those Joseph's lavash too. I put lots of veggies on them, bc i love veggies. I have found that if you just bake with cheese and toppings and then dip in marinara when you are eating (similar to nachos and salsa) it is much crisper and holds up better. For your consideration. 😀

@CrashtestDawnie - … so @Princessvalerie and I were just on our walk and she basically said the same thing - "When you start eating Keto is all there will be..."
