"Howdy, folks!".

Nah, I think I like "Good morning, friends!" better. :)

It's nice to see some serious weight coming off. I like the neat an clean way it's coming off in half kilo increments. First two kilos from Sunday to Monday, then one and a half kilo yesterday, and now one kilo today. Let's hope it'll keep going for a little while still - and not just stop now.

I have so much water in my body it's not even funny. At least that's how it feels. I know it's to be expected, but what a bother.

Anyways, enough nagging.

I did great yesterday on my no-sugar thing. I had my breakfast, lunch and dinner, half a cucumber and an orange. That's it. I had actually planned to have a protein/blackberry smoothie, but I never made it to it. I think I need to thank Paul McKenna for this. :)

I've been listening to the weight loss mp3 the last few days, and I clearly feel a difference. I don't have the urge for sugar treats, and when they DO poke at me I can easily put them away.

Wife and Daughter went shopping with me yesterday, and they had both some Danish from the baker AND ice cream. I politely declined and didn't feel that I was missing out at all. Nice.

So, today is a fun day. First off to work, then home to take a nap (I hope I can nap, but I'll probably end up staring at the ceiling for an hour instead), and then off to rock hard!

We're rehearsing for the 2nd time with my new, hard rocking band. It's gonna be a blast.

I get to REALLY crank up the volume, I get to hang with good friends and I get to play some of my favorite music. We have another friend of mine auditioning to be a singer, and he'll stop by tonight. He's working early, so I'm not sure if he'll be doing any actual singing this time, or if that'll be next week. We'll see. Regardless, it'll be a lot of fun.

I slept really well last night. I didn't even hear Wife get up at 4:00 and get ready, but woke up when my alarm went off at 4:30. I like getting up same time as Wife, so we can get ready together, so losing those 30 minutes made me have to hurry a little more than usual. Thanks to my amazing abilities to multi-task I caught up pretty quickly, though.

This week, I'm trying to stay at work until 1 PM. This will be me upping my work day with a full hour every day compared to last week. So far I've done okay. The last hour isn't really that bad - it also includes a 30 minute lunch break, so after 12 I basically go eat, then back to work for about 30 (and those thirty I don't really get started on much, just clearing up a few things).

This is of course also the plan today. It's gonna be a busy day. I'll be home around 1:30, and I'll be picked up again at 3:30, and then home in time for bed.

I'm gonna make arrangements that I can come in late for work tomorrow, in case my playing music tonight will destroy me completely. I know it takes its toll on me playing music, so I think it's wise to prepare a little. Thursday is our long day at work, so it almost doesn't matter what time I go in, I can still squeeze five hours into my work day.

Thursday is also Wife's cake day. Damn her devil cakes! LOL! I have a pretty clear idea that I will NOT have any cake, trying to not have all the sugar. I think my mission will be either that I am done working by the time people go for the afternoon/cake-break, or I will have to be very determined to just eat fruit. I can do this though, I feel confident that I am strong enough to do it. It's all a matter of first bite, I think. Once I go into it, I don't wanna stop. So, by not starting, it'll be easier. She'll have to rely on someone else to let her know whether it's good or not. No worries, though, there will be MANY compliments. :)

Today, I am thankful for:
- ANOTHER night with good, deep sleep.
- Morning coffee!
- Getting to play my songs in the morning. First on bass, then radio. :)
- Wife letting me sleep. IT was sweet of her.

Happy Wednesday! Be rock and roll today! Do something wild (but low calorie!). Life is good!

Good morning Keld! Take it easy pal, your schedule looks a bit regimented and hardcore! I hope your not late anywhere today. Glad your avoiding sugar ok these days. And cake day sounds like such a good idea, but I am glad I do not have this!

Oh, you SHOULD be glad, JP. Cake day is pure evil. :) And yes, today's schedule is tough, but it's also tons of fun.

Good for your on fighting back the sugar beast! I have been sugar free for about 5 months now, and it does get easier and easier with time. At first though, I didn't let cakes or cookies in the house. Too hard!! But now I look at the stuff I used to love, and all I see is poison...and who wants to eat that? :) Hang tough. You can do it!
