Well, here I am. Trying Keto.
I've played with several recipes and have now decided to take the plunge... I'm sure I will have more "exciting" entries later, when I gain some confidence. I'm just so tired of being "the fat friend' . I'm tired of being tired all the time. I'm REALLY tired of trying so many stupid diets, pills, drinks, I have wasted SOOOOOO much money on that crap its astounding! So when anyone grumbles to me that Keto is expensive I just laugh knowing what I have spent in the past. The cost of good healthy food is NOTHING compared to the cost of gimmicks. On top of the gimmiky shit not working it wreaks havoc with your emotions when you fail over and over. I also have some physical challenges I am hoping to overcome. About 1.5 years ago I had a ruptured brain aneurysm followed by MAJOR brain surgery. I M NOW THE PROUD OWNER OF PLATED AND SCREWS IN MY NOGGIN. I am EXTRAORDINARILY lucky to have survived that, and I try hard not to lose sight of that. But physically it kicked the crap out of me. I am hoping to be able to restart more vigorous physical activity as this journey progresses. Im trying not to get overly excited, but after doing a large amount of research I really feel like this may be the right approach. Sensible eating, and getting off my big bag of nickels for an arse.
Anyway, thats where I am at. Wish me luck :)

that is a wonderful attitude and I think it is great you have done a ton of research. Healthy balanced meal planning makes a huge difference. Knowing your macros, eating reduced calories and being flexible to what your body tells you as you test your diet plan is my advice. and the journey begins.
