Lost a pound!!! Fasting BS this morning, after taking Januvia at bedtime was 141. Working at the library today. Taking tuna salad for lunch. Hard to balance today: 71/7/22 % with 1130 calories. I should have remembered olives!
We have ripe peaches! I'm craving one, but trying to resist. Maybe I can figure one into the equation tomorrow.
I'll go ride my bike and forget about the peach! 3626 steps today.
I remembered to take all my meds today. 3 1/2 hrs after supper, my BS is 128. I still need to eat two slices of bacon to balance the % as close as I can today. I'm not hungry, but just in case the BS goes down during the night, it won't hurt to eat a little more. I'm checking BS twice daily now, because I don't want hypoglycemia. It can sneak up without much warning sometimes. On a cruise once it dropped to 50 and I didn't have any symptoms. Usually though I can feel it dropping: cold sweat, light headed floaty feeling, slow processing of thinking, unable to react quickly, irritable mood. Then after eating some carbs/sugar to bring it back up, several hours of total exhaustion as the body readjusts. At least, that is how my body reacts.
180.6 lb Lost so far: 4.4 lb.    Still to go: 35.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
