Got back the “FatSecret” app on my phone after doing a hard reset.

I’ve been bouncing around since February, not counting calories OR checking blood sugar - but at least my weight is still UNDER 200#; and has stayed there all year! This is the lowest weight I have had in more than 10 years.

Put in what I **think** my meals were for the past two days. Yesterday I topped 2,000 kCal, so I might have gained, but this morning I was 198.8; down 0.4. Today I was over my goal kCal by 390, but only 40 kCal over maintenance. So, today I didn’t lose, but I also won’t gain - not bad for “guessing” at my intake.

My next goal is 13.8 # away; I am having another spine operation on July 18. I really have had a hard time walking since December: my right leg was paralyzed for about 10 minutes in April. So, 3 MRI’s and an EMG later, we’ve discovered the disc above my lumbar fusion (3/19/16) has, as expected, bulged, and is putting pressure on the nerves to both legs. The good news is that the numb, tingling fingers on my right (dominant) hand are carpal tunnel, not my neck. Yes, this is good news! I will be getting only a laminectomy, removal of the disc, in 2 weeks.

Going to be more careful with watching my food intake starting tomorrow, since I only got my phone fixed )I hope) after lunch today.

198.8 lb Lost so far: 29.2 lb.    Still to go: 13.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
