I made a commitment to walk at a moderate pace on days that it is not raining despite a lower back problem and plantar fascitis. Surprisingly, the 15 lb weight loss from April 21 has really helped both. I KNEW they would. Today I managed 35 minutes of walking. I used better shoes and only started to hurt after 25 minutes. I may aim for 25 minutes tomorrow and increase as I lose weight. The heavier I am the harder the walking is. So I am hoping that I can get up to my 55 minutes from a few years ago when I weighed a lot less. I would say that this diet, WW, will probably be the slowest. The fastest, in the beginning, was ATKINS. But I could not stay on that the rest of my life, although I do watch carbs and opt for non-carbs when I can. WW is the easiest to live with although I fear that it will get frustrating as I continue on the journey. At least I am healthy as can be right now, despite some "conditions" like herniated disks, bad feet, bad arthritis and hypothyroidism. I only take one required pill a day, my synthroid. The rest are vitamins and supplements.
