Slow and steady. Crash dieting doesn't usually work in the long run. Great job!

Rosio, in my opinion that's the way to do it! Diets only work for a short time and the weight comes back. Changing how you eat in small ways and adapting it to your life does work. So much of life revolves around food and it's not enjoyable to feel like you have to cheat to enjoy your family and friends. It's a matter of personal choices to determine portions like a small sliver of birthday cake over a large one.

I am taking your advice, last year I lost my motivation because I was being so strict with my diet , now I am eating whatever I want using portion control , I still have a few days when I eat 30 almonds instead of 12- 15 or one cup of ice cream instead of 1/2 but it's ok, haha . I just make sure to do better next meal

Nutritional prostitution! Scandalous! Truly though, Keilin, do this and I promise you won't regret it. Food should not be about restrictions of "good" and "bad", but rather about limitation of how much of each. It's a very sustainable diet that has worked well for a lot of us. But the first thing to master is self control....
