Um I guess it's on settings then under the subsection "community" and it asks if you want to share your journal, weight, etc. I somehow managed to set it to private??? I dunno..as the kids say "cuz oldness" I'm from the era of Apple 2 and floppy disks (fair warning, it will get worse LoL)

I have a desk full of floppy disks that I can not access with this new fangled kids stuff!! I had the same problem being set to private for a long while, but now that I'm visible, I've discovered the most amazing group of folks with support and caring! Welcome!!

Roger, KerryKeto! My first computer was an Apple IIGS -- 1987 -- with one of those modems that measured speed in "bauds." It took about five minutes just to draw the "P" in the "Prodigy" logo. (HA! Remember "Prodigy" and "CompuServe"?) I thought a larger hard drive -- or just spending money, really -- would help. (I mean, didn't they land a man on the moon with technology decades older than the Apple IIGS?!) So, I bought an external ASCII hard drive -- $400 for 100MB of additional space. Yes. that's "MEGA-BYTES." (I'll bet the kids in this audience have no idea what I'm talking about.)

Bought my son a PSII when he was in 7th grade and failing the first computer class ever taught in his school. He passed! I didn't start computing till a year or two later, but before Windows. I taught myself DOS, with many phone calls to my older brother. Brother was ahead of me with DOS, but I advised HIM to get Windows when it came in. After many years of being on top of the game, I find myself somewhat computer illiterate again. Too many changes too fast for me to do more than drive it now. That's ok! I don't know how to fix a car but I still drive it. You don't need to feel bad about being technologically impaired -- I bet most of us just drive our computers anymore. Best of luck with Keto!

I just got a Dell Windows 10 machine, upgraded from a 2008 emachine running Vista, but I've got both of them on my home network, along with machines running Windows 98 & XP, if I need an old file, I'm covered!

Miraculum, I used to work for Prodigy! I was so sad when they ended their ISP with Y2K. I bought IBM about the same time you bought your Apple. Before that, I used the mainframe. Also, I was a DOS holdout until Windows conquered everything.

I actually have a boxed set of word perfect still on one of my shelves! Anyone remember word perfect? I know I need to throw it out. It probably has the old 5 x 7 discs. Its on the top shelf and I'd have to climb up on a stool to reach it!

@Texasgranny6 I remember WordPerfect from the early 90's! During the DOS empire 😉

Texasgranny6, I still have a copy of WordPerfect 6. I used to teach earlier versions to office workers.
